Tomahawk thrives in the winter with over 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that link to broader systems across Lincoln, Oneida, Price & Langlade counties. Thanks to active local snowmobile clubs and community support, Tomahawk has earned recognition as a Snowmobile-Friendly Community, with trails that conveniently connect riders to restaurants, lodging, and services right from the trailhead.
Lakes such as Lake Alice, Lake Nokomis, and parts of the Wisconsin River system freeze into expansive, fishable terrain where locals and visitors alike set up tip-ups and shanties for a classic Northwoods hardwater experience.
