Winter Wonderland

Head out onto the ice and try your hand at one of the norths’ favorite past times, ice fishing. Area lakes boast everything from panfish to predators. Many lakes host tournaments that bring out the camaraderie of the locals.

Ease into the winter months by digging those skis out and reacquaint them to the cross country trails. With numerous trails around the area that are regularly groomed, get outside and find your favorite!

Grab warm boots and hook those snowshoes on for wandering the trails or trekking across the lakes without fighting the snow. Many of our local parks and trail systems have silent sports trails year round.
